All the recipes I've ever seen for this call for a butt load of salt (hence the name "caviar"). But, like you, I prefer it without. It's plenty salty enough as made here.
Oh wow, I've never seen a recipe where you add salt to this! I am totally with you on this one! It has so much flavor on its own!
